Poster Board Pumpkin Craft
My 5 year old brought home his monthly Family Art Project last week. Our assignment was to turn the paper shape into an awesome Pumpkin Masterpiece. We had a Poster Board Pumpkin Craft Challenge - and we couldn?t disappoint! We didn?t have time to drive 45 minutes to Hobby Lobby, so we went to the Dollar General store for inspiration. Fortunately Halloween decorations are everywhere. We found a cool face mask and black hat for a dollar each! Since I knew I had plenty of orange felt at home in th craft box, I knew we were set!
Poster Board Pumpkin Craft
We gathered our supplies. (glue gun, poster board pumpkin shape, hat, mask, and pencil) I found several big pieces of orange felt from left over craft projects. If you look closely, you?ll notice the black hat had green braids on each side. Definitely not happening for this 5 year old?s project! We snipped them off and we were good to go!
We traced the shape on the felt.
It didn?t take long to add the features. Now we had the coolest looking poster board pumpkin you could ever imagine!
