This blog serves as my scrapbook, so these are things that I don't want to forget...
?On Saturday Katie was hiding from me in her room:
?She usually gives her self away when she is yelling, "Mommy, come find me!"?
Then she wanted me to take her picture!? Gladly!
We also had to run some errands that day. We met up with my sister and niece and nephew in Ft. Worth. We ate at Dutch's across from the TCU campus.?
?I vote it the best burger place ever... if that counts for anything.
Marcus and I also looked at a house that day!?
Look how fancy:
?We were thinking about buying it to fix up and resell or renting it out.?
?But the timing isn't right, right now.
?Maybe we will tackle another house after the holidays?
Last Saturday, we had a little cold snap and it was great!? Old Navy was having a sale on coats, so Katie and I stopped by.? But first we had to get some donuts, because we skipped donut Friday the day before. ?
?Donuts are just as yummy on Saturday!
I got Katie a cute fleece jacket for $15.? Of course it warmed up after that.? It's crazy that you have to buy kids a whole new wardrobe every season!?
And last week they did baptisms in the youth department.??
It was so fun!?
We have a new outdoor patio with a built in baptismal.? (It's covered when not in use)
?
?Our youth pastor is a giant and a former NFL player, he REALLY dunks you good.?
One of the parents brought an air horn!? It was a fun night!
And October 15th is pregnancy and infant loss remembrance day:
I was due to have a baby this week a year ago.? And I also had another miscarriage at the end of July.? That baby was due in February.? Almost nobody knew about that pregnancy.? And only a handful know about the miscarriage.? It just was easier to keep it to ourselves.?
The only reason I am mentioning both now, is not for pity or for you to feel sad for us, I just don't want anyone to feel alone if you are in the same situation.??
Our hope comes from God and knowing He has a plan.? I know I will see my babies in Heaven when I get?
?there.? And we are so enormously grateful for Katie Belle! She really is proving to be a miracle child.
If you are apart of this "statistic"? I encourage you to have hope and find joy.
